Worship Service
The Worship Services of Capilla del Sol are held each Sunday at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM.
Excellent Nursery care is provided during these services. Many have described our style as traditional, but with a wonderful personal touch that only a small congregation like ours can provide. We begin with a welcome, songs, and prayer. Next, our choir director, David Ash, leads a vocal presentation. After the choir performs, the children are invited up front for a special message and are released to go to next door to the classrooms for a fun Sunday School lesson. After the sermon, we have a time for prayers on behalf of others and the sharing together of the Lord's Prayer. Each Sunday we also share the Lord's Supper, or Communion. Every believer present, whether a member of the local congregation or not, is invited to participate in this time of remembrance of our Lord's death for us and His resurrection in power that brings us life. After service, we take time for fellowship, gathering on our beautiful shaded patio before the second service begins at 10:30 am. The second service is an informal "Come as you are interactive Bible study type of worship service." This service includes music and communion every Sunday.
